Peter Asher Pitzele, Miriam, collage, 2007-2010.
Torahluminations signals a connection between paper collage and storytelling with the ancient practice of illuminating Scripture. Peter Asher Pitzele explores the dimensional images of the biblical narrative with an artist’s license. He uses the art as armatures, points of departure, private and public referents for his work.
