Singer, songwriter, poet, and teacher at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Debbie Friedman was a woman who changed our way of praying in the modern world.
She was a beloved presence in hundreds of Reform congregations all over the world, and we will take the opportunity to honor her, here in Jerusalem.
Opening Remarks: Rabbi Haim Shalom, HUC-JIR
Musical Direction: Cantors Tamar Havilio and Evan Kent, HUC-JIR
Pianist and Musical Artist: Anastasia Sobolev
Musicians and Song Leaders: Students of HUC-JIR in Jerusalem
The evening will be in Hebrew and English.
