in general terms," said Rabbi David Ellenson, Ph.D., HUC-JIR president. "There are discussions that are taking place
in all these areas. But what we have is an extremely friendly relationship. We have been sister institutions for more
than 35 years now. The hope on our part is that this relationship can continue to grow even deeper and that it will

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Events Across Greater Cleveland – The Plain Dealer
Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple
will honor Dr. King during a Shabbat evening service. Alysa Stanton, who will become the first African-American
rabbi ordained by HUC-JIR, will lead the service and deliver the sermon. |

Proud Day for HUC-JIR – Express Cincinnati
HUC-JIR broke ground on the
$11.5 million renovation of the Klau Library in October. With 465,000 volumes, the library has the largest
collection of printed Judaica in North America. |

far pointed her large-format camera at a dozen books owned by HUC-JIR/NY on West 4th Street in Manhattan, and is
now shooting half a dozen more HUC-JIR volumes with assistance from New York Head Librarian Dr. Phil Miller. |
