But, for now,
We turn back to remember what once was.
Our worship gives us pause to reflect upon our yesterdays.

Though touch and sound and sight of those whom we once knew are gone,
We save a loving place within our souls for them:
These visionaries of our past
On whose shoulders we still stand.
We remember, then, past presidents of our College-Institute,
With us now in sacred memory.
