Communicating Throughout your RE-IMAGINE Journey

This is a presentation for a Re-Imagine Project of New York orientation focused on communication. The speaker’s goal is to make participants feel included and connected to the project, so that they may communicate proactively to pave the way for change. Change communication depends on five factors:

  1. when and how often you communicate: communicate early and often!
  2. who communicates it, and to whom: every Task Force member is an ambassador, and has the chance to listen to their friends and bring those concerns and ideas to light.
  3. how you communicate: be honest about the process conditions people for change.
  4. what you communicate: focus on the purpose; communicate openly about the process; share the plan; explain what people will be expected to do.
  5. where you communicate: where are meetings held? What time? What else is going on? What is the context of communication?

Notes for the speaker are included in the presentation.
