This handout lays out the major goals and principles of the ECE’s RE-IMAGINE Project. The dual goals of the project are to create congregations of learners and self-renewing congregations. The guiding principles are: 1) Jewish learning as a pathway; 2) adaptation vs. replication; 3) inquiry and reflection; 4) text study is integral; 5) experimentation; and 6) balancing product and process. This handout may be used to introduce participants to the philosophy of RE-IMAGINE and/or to help create a congregation’s own process of innovation.
