This document is a guide that outlines the process by which congregations can plan a year of learning experiences for families using Express Innovation, offered by the Jewish Education Project in partnership with the Experiment in Congregational Education and the Leadership Institute. Express Innovation is designed to propel congregations forward in their practice of engaging children and their families in meaningful Jewish learning. This planning template includes identifying the congregation’s priority goals, big ideas or essential questions, and learner goals; collecting and analyzing data about the community of learners to help guide the learning plan; and calendaring the learning experiences for the year.
