This is a description of a model from the Midway Jewish Center. The model consists of five activities: (1) create age appropriate family services; (2) integrate kadima and religious school; (3) inspire community to make Shabbat at home; (4) offer parents learning opportunities; and (5) establish incentives for post b’nei mitzvah students. The description includes the center’s vision statement as well as an explanation of the congregation’s first steps, funding and governance, and goals and early outcomes are provided.
