Case Study: Listening Through the Frames and Re-Framing

This is a role-play exercise in which participants must act out a situation in which one person is the caller (the educator), and one person is a consultant. The exercise is a simulation of a phone call in which the educator is unsatisfied with the leadership team and the change process. The consultant must respond by referring to the four frames noted by Bolman and Deal. The exercise is meant to be repeated several times, in order to test out alternative responses.
