This is a description of a model from the South Huntington Jewish Center. The model aims to provide higher education students with the foundations and skills for life-long learning through critical thinking, teamwork, and ethical reasoning and action. An explanation of the congregation’s vision, model, first steps, funding and governance structures, and goals and early outcomes are provided.
