This is a text study from the Re-Imagine Guidebook’s second chapter, Setting the Stage. This text study uses T’filat HaDerech, the Traveler’s Prayer, to discuss peace, wholeness, and belonging during a journey. The study also includes an activity on why to study text. The activity includes a set of questions such as: (1) Why is study important for Jews in contemporary society? (2) Why is study integral to the Re-Imagine Project? (3) Why study Jewish texts? (4) Which texts are appropriate for study? and (5) What learning methods should be used?
