Text Study: Keeping the Broken Tablets

This is a text study from the Re-Imagine Guidebook’s third chapter, Looking Inward. The text study discusses the story of Moses shattering the two tablets after descending the mountain, and how Moses later recounted how God replaced the original tablets. The broken tablets are a metaphor for “old” or “broken” techniques used in Jewish education that continue to hold meaning.
