The following case study is from the Temple Israel of New Rochelle, a RE-IMAGINE congregation in the New York area. The case study explains the background of the congregation and identifies weak points that the congregation hopes to strengthen, including increasing member participation and making leadership development a priority. The study shows how the Leadership Team used the Re-Imagine Guidebook, and the achievements and challenges faced during the process. The Re-Imagine Project helped Temple Israel of New Rochelle to develop an engaged, committed group of lay people who have a voice in the education programs. This case study exemplifies how the Re-Imagine Project can positively impact a congregation.
