This resource sheet explains how an education team that has identified its priority goal(s) for learning can begin to design learning experiences using the “whole person learning” or “KDBB” (“Knowing, Doing, Believing, Belonging”) model. The resource lays out questions the team should ask about what they want learners to know, do, believe, and feel a sense of belonging to after their learning experiences and provides sample KDBB designs to study. This approach is meant to help create learning that is relevant and meaningful, a source of inspiration and a context for understanding the world.
