Developing a Learning Plan in Preparation for Calendaring

This guide is meant to help the education team or task force plan the upcoming year’s learning experiences based on the data and insights from the past year (year 1 of the Express Innovation program). The team revisits what it has learned about the history and vision of the congregation, and insights from congregational surveys and social connector families’ reflections to determine what it needs to incorporate into the learning. The guide suggests the team imagines what it wants participant families to be doing differently at the end of the year, and what kind of learning they will need to reach those ends. The team also identifies essential questions/big ideas to help focus the planning for the year. Please note that the worksheet described in the guidebook is not included here.
