This is a document about conditions for making long lasting change with a focus on community. It defines community as a process of re-imagination in a group of people with an intrinsic commitment to a sense of high moral purpose. The following handout explains why community is necessary for making change, and explores how community is developed. Discussion questions are provided. This handout would be helpful for reflecting on building community in order to move forward.
